When I ssh into FreeNAS I can ping both 8.8.8.8 and google.com. When I ssh into my jails (either one) i can ping 8.8.8.8 but not google.com All the vnet literature talks about a vnet jail having it's own separate ip stack. It will draw howls of protest from politicians and the punditocracy, but the time has come to allow Internet access in jails and prisons. It would open a world of new opportunities for prisoners
